The tan cartridge that made construction adhesive a household word. One 10 oz tube of Heavy Duty runs about 31 feet of 1/4 in. bead and bonds plywood, OSB, drywall, tile board, foam board, treated lumber and brick veneer with a permanent, flexible, waterproof bond. Framing a closet, hanging tile board over backer, fixing a loose stair tread: this is the one we reach for first.

Questions about this tube

Does Heavy Duty need nails too?

Use fasteners or bracing for 24 hours while the bond cures. After that the adhesive carries the load; the nails just held the piece still.

Will it bond pressure-treated lumber?

Yes. Treated lumber, plywood, OSB and particleboard are all on the recommended list, dry or lightly damp.
